Thalia Poulos is the founder & designer of Efthalia Designs. She loves to invent new ways to use raw materials and metals, whether for accessories, clothing or home décor and is currently designing a line of jewelry.     Our accessories are about being girlie, being a Brat at every age, being flirty, wearing jewelry in different ways, being inventive, being creative, looking your self-confident best and most of all – having fun!     Thalia began designing when she learned to sew at an early age. She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and modified every pattern she ever bought. She would select dresses or gowns made of beautiful fabric from her Mother’s closet, take them apart and remake them into skirts, skinny tops, pants, purses, trim, hats, hair accessories and anything else she fancied.                   Her Mother’s jewelry box had the same fate - turning clip earrings into pins, brooches, pendants, belts, hair accessories and more. In college, she branched out – passionately cutting up her mother’s linen tablecloths to make patterns for unique clothing & designing chic shoes & accessories for many other fashionable students; then took her designs to boutiques on the streets of Chicago.
